On July 24, the PA/NJ/DE CCIM chapter recently welcomed over 40 members of the Pittsburgh commercial real estate community to a behind-the-scenes tour of Bakery Square and the new Bakery Office Three building which is currently under construction.
The project’s developer, architect, and general contractor provided insight into the conceptualization, design, construction, and operation of Pittsburgh’s premier university / tech office campus. Attendees were able to access portions of the property that are off-limits to the general public. The group then enjoyed food, beverages, and conversation at Bakery Social.
Bakery Square is a large mixed-use development located in the East End neighborhood of Pittsburgh, built out of the existing site of the historic Nabisco Factory. Bakery Square is home to Google, UPMC, Anthropologie, Free People, LA Fitness, Learning Express Toys, Jimmy Johns, Springhill Suites Marriott Hotel, Massage Heights, Social, University of Pittsburgh, Veteran Administration, CMU Software Engineering Institute and Panera Bread.
